NEBOSH General FAQs
Typically 11 days of taught content plus self-study and exams. Many providers spread this over 2-4 weeks. A part-time route over several months is also available.
Two open-book exams: a knowledge-focused written paper and a workplace-based risk assessment project.
The qualification itself is for life. However, employers usually expect ongoing CPD.
NEBOSH General covers all sectors. NEBOSH Construction has the same first half (Unit IG1) but a construction-specific second unit covering CDM 2015, work at height, and demolition.
