Construction courses

Construction training at Course Genie centres on the CITB Site Safety Plus scheme, the qualifications UK main contractors actually ask for at induction. Operatives start with the 1-day Health and Safety Awareness course, supervisors take the 2-day SSSTS, and site managers the 5-day SMSTS, each valid for five years with SSSTS Refresher and SMSTS Refresher courses to renew. Anyone responsible for formwork, falsework, scaffolding or excavation support adds the Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor course.

Alongside the safety tickets sit the trade qualifications: our construction NVQs are completed remotely from your own work, with no exams, and lead to CSCS cards from Blue Skilled Worker through to Black Manager.
