Fire Safety courses

Fire safety training runs from workplace awareness to professional fire risk assessment. Every workplace needs staff who understand fire prevention, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 expects employers to appoint people to assist with fire safety duties: the 1-day Basic Fire Safety Awareness course covers the ground every employee should know, and the Fire Marshal course trains the nominated wardens who run evacuations, check fire points and act as the responsible eyes on the floor.

For specialists, the ladder continues through the Ofqual-regulated fire risk assessment qualifications, from the Level 3 Award in Fire Risk Assessment to the Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma, and the NEBOSH Fire Certificate for fire safety management.
