Level 3 NVQ Diploma Interior Systems

Accredited by ProQual

The NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Interior Systems is the advanced qualification for experienced interior fit-out specialists, and it is the route to the CSCS Gold Advanced Craft card. An NVQ is competence-based: you prove you can already work at an advanced level, assessed against national standards from your own workplace, with no exams. The whole qualification is completed remotely.

It is aimed at dry liners, ceiling fixers and partition installers whose work goes beyond standard installation: setting out from drawings, complex and specialist systems, performance walls and ceilings, operable partitions and co-ordinating work with other trades on commercial fit-outs.

This NVQ is awarded by ProQual and regulated by Ofqual (qualification number 610/4133/6). It is made up of core units covering health and safety, efficient working and resource handling, plus advanced units matched to the interior systems work you do.

Completing the NVQ, together with a pass in the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test at the level for your occupation, lets you apply for the CSCS Gold Advanced Craft card. The CSCS Cards guide explains how the card, the qualification and the test fit together.

Not yet at advanced level? The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Interior Systems covers dry lining at skilled worker level, and there are related Level 2 routes in Fitted Interiors and ceiling fixing and interior systems. Experienced installers can progress towards supervision with the Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision NVQ. You can also browse the full range of construction NVQs.
