Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plastering

The NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plastering is the advanced craft qualification for experienced plasterers, and it is the route to the CSCS Gold Advanced Craft card. An NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) is competence-based: instead of sitting exams, you demonstrate that you can already work at an advanced level, assessed against national standards from your own workplace. The whole qualification is completed remotely.

It is aimed at plasterers who have moved beyond routine work: setting out and producing complex finishes, working to demanding specifications, solving problems on site and often guiding others. If that is your day-to-day work, the Level 3 NVQ turns it into a nationally recognised advanced craft qualification and the Gold card that goes with it.

This NVQ is awarded by ProQual and regulated by Ofqual (qualification number 603/5875/0). It is made up of core units covering health and safety, efficient working and resource management, plus advanced craft units that match the plastering you do, from complex solid work and high specification finishes to fibrous work.

Not yet at advanced craft level? The NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plastering is the skilled worker route and the CSCS Blue card.
