The Level 5 Award in Reduction and Mitigation of Pollution Incidents in the Water Industry is the specialist qualification for professionals who prevent, manage and learn from pollution incidents: wastewater and clean water managers, environmental compliance leads and operational specialists in the water sector.
It is aimed at people with real responsibility for pollution performance: managing assets and catchments to prevent incidents, leading the response when incidents happen, investigating causes, reporting to regulators and driving the improvements that stop repeats. With regulatory and public pressure on pollution at an all time high, demonstrable competence in this area has never mattered more.
This Award is awarded by ProQual, an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation, and sits at Level 5 on the regulated framework, the same level as a foundation degree. Assessment is remote: you evidence real pollution prevention and incident work from your role and review it with your assessor, with no exams.
