Health and Safety Awareness FAQs

HSA plus the CITB HS&E operatives test gets you a CSCS Green Labourer card, which gives basic site access. For trade work you usually also need a trade-specific qualification.
One day, typically 08:00 to 16:30.
The certificate itself does not have a fixed expiry, but most contractors expect it to be no more than 5 years old. The CSCS Green card it supports is valid for 5 years.
